Camp Jumoke Sub-Committees

The following are the committees of Camp Jumoke that facilitates accomplishing the goals and the overall operation of the organization. Committee Members are voting members of the organization who meet on a weekly basis in a manner agreed upon by the Board through the director that chairs each committee and reports to the board. The following list names these positions and outlines the responsibilities therein:

Note: All Directors and Subcommittees are responsible for the creation of
budgets relating to events and projects
they undertake.

Camp Jumoke – Weekly Committee Meetings
Mondays via phone/or web conference at or around 8pm – 9pm
To facilitate a smooth and more efficient organization.
Mondays are Camp Jumoke day – Commitment from members who can commit to Camp Jumoke 52 weeks per year. It will be up to the Chair of each Committee to ensure that meetings occur and are documented and reported to the board.

Strategic Planning Committee – First Monday of Every Month
Chair: President, VP
Purpose:
• To review the Strategic goals and direction Camp Jumoke is to pursue
• To implement new and effective goals and initiatives to ensure to continual progression of Camp Jumoke
• To ensure the ongoing success of Camp Jumoke initiatives and processes
Board Meeting – 2nd Monday of every month
All board Members are expected to be in attendance
Promotions and Outreach Committee – 3rd Monday of Every Month
Suggested Chair: Events Director, Volunteer Director, Communications Director, VP, President
Purpose:
• To promote events effectively
• To promote Camp Jumoke to communities, individuals and organizations that do not know about camp Jumoke
• To work with out of town organizations, hospitals and organizations that wish to promote and work with camp Jumoke
• Work to produce initiatives to achieve the above processes
Financial Planning Committee – 4th Monday of Every Month
Suggested Chair: Fundraising Director, Treasurer
Purpose:
• To go over the financials receivables, payables and debits each month
• To go over fundraising directives and develop plans to fund raise
• To go over success of current Initiatives such as 50/500 Initiative
• School Fundraising Initiatives
• Church fundraising Initiatives
• Work with Promotions and Outreach committee to ensure initiatives and directives work hand in hand

we operate all
year round, so your assistance is always welcomed and needed in all forms; whether it be physical or financial.

We will also accept
your prayers and referals.


PLEASE NOTE THAT IN ORDER TO MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT
YOU MUST BECOME A MEMBER: MEMBERSHIP FEE is only $10.00 PER YEAR
and is used to offset the cost of providing services to our members,
such as mailing notices to our membership and equipment maintenance or the aquisition of tools that allows us to provide the services that you and the children depend on.

We also, encourage current college and university students; especially those in the Medical, New Media, Fundraising, Journalism and Business Management programs to come on out and be of service to these bold and deserving children.

Each year we host several events in which you the community can participate and learn more about the great work being done at Camp Jumoke...the smiling faces of campers is our reward.




The Annual General Meeting is the place where new board members are nominated and voted into office. Everyone is welcome.
