You will be entertained by some of toronto's top talents all doing their part in helping to enrich the lives of children living with Sickle Cell Disease; a chornic hereditary blood disorder.
Camp Jumoke also encourages you all, to support the Canadian Blood Services in their regular blood drive as many of our children require blood transfusion to manage their illness.

What is Sickle Cell?

Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) is an inherited blood disorder that causes the distortion, or “sickling,” of red blood cells. It occurs when a child inherits a sickle cell gene from each of their parents.

Is the camp safe?
YES. The camp is fully supervised by well-trained staff, volunteers and doctors.

How many children go to camp?
35 on average. However, the camp is shared with other groups. The amount of children who attend our camp is truly dependant upon the support of the community.
