Is
the process by which Camp Jumoke hopes to assist its cleintelle as
they move out of the camping age range and into fully functioning
positive members of Canadian Society as a whole. This process
will rely heavily on the input of these special young people with
the guidance of mentors and a support network that leads to them experiencing a balanced life.

Jumoke Meetings
General meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month and are open to everyone. Occasionally due to conflicts with Statuary Holidays, we may change the regular meeting dates.
Join us and learn more about helping children with Sickle Cell Disease. See our meetings page for posted dates
We would like each year's Turtle Walk to be more lively,
entertaining, informative and most of all FUN!
To achieve this, all are encouraged to bring their
favorite noise maker (i.e.)cymbal/drum/triangle/and or
tamborines.
Also, any and everyone to create some cheers/chants and
submit them to be compiled and distributed during registration
at the Turtle Walk Launch Sit,e on walk day.
This way we can all work in unison to deliver a strong
message while on the route!
Check this one out: sample recording of the rhythm and phrasing coming soon...feel free to restruture with your Spirit Squad.
Hey "Camp Jumoke" are you there?
Put your hands up / in the air
If you feel like a champion
Say it like/ I know you can.
Say Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
Sickle celll Disease Can not defeat us
So we walk vic-tori-ous...
Roll it!
Shake it!
Victory Let's Take II!
We hope that our campers will seize this opportunity to make
this their walk and really play a major role in the success of
each Turtle Walk.
We suggest that the youths form Spirit Squads with their close friends and rehearse ahead of time so they can
lead their favourite chant.
The plan is to collect a few distinct and informative, short,
sweet, concise and to the point chants or thirty and sixty
second commercials for and about Camp Jumoke.
